There is a little time left until the beginning of one of the most important events for the baking sector – international fair iba-2015 that will take place from 12th until 15th September in Munich. There are more than 1250 companies from all over the world that will participate in that fair. The visitors of the fair, including the official group of bakers from Belarus (more than 70 people), will see the novelties of the sector, innovative solutions and will participate in different business meetings, workshops, presentations, professional mastery contests.

In advance of the fair iba-2015 an international specialized fair “Bakery and Confectionery-2015” will be carried out in Minsk from 8th until 11th September. The schedule of the fair is also very busy and eventful and includes such famous and relevant events as international conference, republican quality check of the baked and confectionery products “Lasunak-2015”, International Championship of confectionery art, contest for the professional confectioners “Style and Taste Festival”, workshops with the leading world confectioners. There will be also some events that will be carried out for the first time, among them: Belarus Barista Cup-2015 and a workshop for the consumers “Bread is a base for healthy eating”.

We offer you an overview of the whole-grain bread: historical excursus, the results of scientific researches, unquestionable benefit and different offers from the companies-suppliers of the grain bread mixtures.

This issue of the magazine has one new section – “International Column”. This is our common project together with the magazines “Bread+Baking” (Germany) and “Bread from Vernyi” (“Vernyi Chleb” - Kazakhstan). We have united our efforts to inform our readers about breadmaking market, world tendencies, changing consumer’s tastes, etc. in the best possible way.
